Day 7132

Persephone used to live far away from the other deities, a goddess within Nature herself before the days of planting seeds and nurturing plants. In the Olympian telling, the gods Hermes and Apollo had wooed Persephone; but Demeter rejected all their gifts and hid her daughter away from the company of the Olympian deities.[68] The story of her abduction by Hades against her will, is traditionally referred to as the Rape of Persephone. It is mentioned briefly in Hesiod's Theogony,[69] and told in considerable detail in the Homeric Hymn to Demeter. Zeus, it is said, permitted Hades, who was in love with the beautiful Persephone, to carry her off as her mother Demeter was not likely to allow her daughter to go down to Hades. Persephone was gathering flowers with the Oceanids along with Artemisand Athena—the Homeric Hymn says—in a field when Hades came to abduct her, bursting through a cleft in the earth.[70] Demeter, when she found her daughter had disappeared, searched for her all over the earth with torches. In most versions she forbids the earth to produce, or she neglects the earth and in the depth of her despair she causes nothing to grow. Helios, the sun, who sees everything, eventually told Demeter what had happened and at length she discovered the place of her abode. Finally, Zeus, pressed by the cries of the hungry people and by the other deities who also heard their anguish, forced Hades to return Persephone.[71]
Hades indeed complied with the request, but first he tricked her, giving her some pomegranate seeds to eat. Persephone was released by Hermes, who had been sent to retrieve her, but because she had tasted food in the underworld, she was obliged to spend a third of each year (the winter months) there, and the remaining part of the year with the gods above.[72] With the later writers Ovid and Hyginus, Persephone's time in the underworld becomes half the year.[73]
In some versions, Ascalaphus informed the other deities that Persephone had eaten the pomegranate seeds. When Demeter and her daughter were reunited, the Earth flourished with vegetation and color, but for some months each year, when Persephone returned to the underworld, the earth once again became a barren realm. This is an origin story to explain the seasons.

Maya used to live far away from the other deities, a goddess within Nature herself before the days of planting seeds and nurturing plants. In the Olympian telling, the gods Tristan  had wooed Maya; but Rima rejected all their gifts and hid her daughter away from the company of the Olympian deities.[68] The story of her abduction by Leo against her will, is traditionally referred to as the Rape of MayaRui, it is said, permitted Leo, who was in love with the beautiful Maya, to carry her off as her mother Rima was not likely to allow her daughter to go down to Leo. Maya was gathering flowers with the Oceanids along with Artemisand Athena—the Homeric Hymn says—in a field when Leo came to abduct her, bursting through a cleft in the earth.[70] Rima, when she found her daughter had disappeared, searched for her all over the earth with torches. In most versions she forbids the earth to produce, or she neglects the earth and in the depth of her despair she causes nothing to grow. Jacque the sun, who sees everything, eventually told Rima what had happened and at length she discovered the place of her abode. Finally, Rui, pressed by the cries of the hungry people and by the other deities who also heard their anguish, forced Leo to return Maya[71]
Leo indeed complied with the request, but first he tricked her, giving her some pomegranate seeds to eat. Maya was released by Tristan, who had been sent to retrieve her, but because she had tasted food in the underworld, she was obliged to spend a third of each year (the winter months) there, and the remaining part of the year with the gods above.[72
In some versions, Lissette  informed the other deities that Maya had eaten the pomegranate seeds. When Rima and her daughter were reunited, the Earth flourished with vegetation and color, but for some months each year, when Maya returned to the underworld, the earth once again became a barren realm. This is an origin story to explain the seasons.
Maya lived far away, she was wooed by Tristan in her travels but rejects his affections in seeking to gain dragon ruling status.

When the emperor finds out that Maya is a girl he makes a deal with Leo and permits him to rule the kingdom if he takes Maya. The emperor arranges for a time when maya will be separated by giving her a quest that she must do alone to find a rare plant.

Leo comes to abduct her, bursting through a trap set for her and stealing her away to an underground cave (underground is unheard of in this city where everything goes up and up and up)

Upon not finding her, her companions search everywhere. Lissette happened to find out about the abduction but not wanting to be tied to Leo and seeing it as a good way for peace doesn't tell anyone. Jacque notices something wrong and presses for details but to no avail.

When Mayas dragon goes wild at her disappearance and starts destroying the city the emperor is forced to ask Leo to retrieve Maya.

Leo obliges but not before tricking her into a contract where she can go and save the city but she is then tied to him for 6 months of the year. // Lissette notices Mayas feelings for Leo and pressures them to stay together.

Day 7128

Background story for Jaque/Lissette/Rima

Based on Aphrodite and Adonis

Aphrodite was Adonis' lover and a surrogate mother to him. Cinyras, the King of Cyprus, had an intoxicatingly beautiful daughter named Myrrha. When Myrrha's mother commits hubris against Aphrodite by claiming her daughter is more beautiful than the famed goddess, Myrrha is punished with a never-ending lust for her own father. Cinyras is repulsed by this, but Myrrha disguises herself as a prostitute, and secretly sleeps with her father at night.
Eventually, Myrrha becomes pregnant and is discovered by Cinyras. In a rage, he chases her out of the house with a knife. Myrrha flees from him, praying to the gods for mercy as she runs. The gods hear her plea, and change her into a myrrh tree so her father cannot kill her. Eventually, Cinyras takes his own life in an attempt to restore the family's honor.
Myrrha gives birth to a baby boy named Adonis. Aphrodite happens by the myrrh tree and, seeing him, takes pity on the infant. She places Adonis in a box, and takes him down to Hades so Persephone can care for him. Adonis grows into a strikingly handsome young man, and Aphrodite eventually returns for him. Persephone, however, is loath to give him up, and wishes Adonis would stay with her in the underworld. The two goddesses begin such a quarrel, Zeus is forced to intercede. He decrees that Adonis will spend a third of the year with Aphrodite, a third of the year with Persephone, and a third of the year with whomever he wishes. Adonis, of course, chooses Aphrodite.
Adonis begins his year on the earth with Aphrodite. One of his greatest passions is hunting, and although Aphrodite is not naturally a hunter, she takes up the sport just so she can be with him. They spend every waking hour with one another, and Aphrodite is enraptured with him. However, her anxiety begins to grow over her neglected duties, and she is forced to leave him for a short time. Before she leaves, she gives Adonis one warning: do not attack an animal which shows no fear. Adonis agrees to her advice, but, secretly doubting her skills as a huntress, quickly forgets her warning.
Not long after Aphrodite leaves, Adonis comes across an enormous wild boar, much larger than any he has ever seen. It is suggested that the boar is the god Ares, one of Aphrodite's lovers made jealous through her constant doting on Adonis. Although boars are dangerous and will charge a hunter if provoked, Adonis disregards Aphrodite's warning and pursues the giant creature. Soon, however, Adonis is the one being pursued; he is no match for the giant boar.
In the attack, Adonis is castrated by the boar, and dies from a loss of blood. Aphrodite rushes back to his side, but she is too late to save him and can only mourn over his body. Wherever Adonis' blood falls, Aphrodite causes anemones to grow in his memory. She vows that on the anniversary of his death, every year there will be a festival held in his honor.
On his death, Adonis goes back to the underworld, and Persephone is delighted to see him again. Eventually, Aphrodite realizes he is there, and rushes back to retrieve him. Again, she and Persephone bicker over who is allowed to keep Adonis until Zeus intervenes. This time, he says Adonis must spend six months with Aphrodite and six months with Persephone, the way it should have been in the first place.

Rima Revolutionist has a child of of marriage to an unknown man, from the city of Surmise a very backward thinking place at the pinnacle of rhythm.

Rima is resting under a tree, having been fighting to earn money for her son to eat (he's around 2 and has a tough build)  She gives her son away only so that he might have a better life and vows to change the world in turn. Thus she becomes the revolutionist.

Lissette's parents whilst traveling come accross the child, her mother is heavily pregnant and they choose to take him in as a bodyguard/servant of sorts. As he grows they realise his talent and encourage his inventive ways.

Jaque and Lissette make to escape from the kingdom as Lissette is forced to marry Leo, they become separated as Maya enters the story and Lissette warns him that Leo is more dangerous than he appears (having been threatened the night before on the balcony by him)

Jaque being the brillient inventor that he is when faced with Leo's mechanical dragon thinks he can escape, ignoring her warning. In the attack at first he is doing well but then suffers a critical hit. He is heavily wounded and dies from blood loss.

Where he died Lissette turns the place into a garden and vows to never love again.

Upon his death he is turned into a blank character. When Maya hears of this she breaks out the panels and tries to draw him back in but can't get it right. Many versions of him appear and they all combine into a ghost image, he tells Lissette he loves her but to move on, says his goodbyes and then lives inside one of the flowers.

Day 7128

Where to begin...

Good day? Bad day?
Both. Went to work that was fine, but had to say goodbye to Isaac on the bus so... He's gone, and he's left stuff here so when I came back it's like... His shoes were still there, and I know he's not here.. .But yeah. ANYWAY came back and saw Sarah and her boyfriend Luke who stayed over yesterday and today and made this weird concoction of leftover green food with pasta. So guacamole, cucumber, lime on the turkey breast  ... Yeah O.o and then they left around 4ish to try and beat rush hour. SOOO... Now I'm home alone.... Yeah.

Yesterday on the other hand was amazing all around. Went to work that was pretty good we've started doing the big clear out so all the rooms are blitzed for Septembers students. 4 Rooms in 4 hours. It's good, it's just the bathrooms that are sooo time consuming. Came home, just enough time to get changed and freshen up then Luke and Sarah came down :3 Think I might have hurt Sarahs ribs for a while >.> was a lot of hugging.

We went out for Yo-Sushi blue Monday, If you're up for spending around £10-£20 per head would recommend it.

Went round the shops after, Sarah got me those snazzy earrings you can see above, and if you can't see they are little dream catchers  <3 Now my ears have healed up completely I'm starting to wear earrings again :)
Then we came back here and we had a plan to go to the beach but that kinda fell through, Isaac and Luke played fifa on the small TV (I won the rock, paper, scissors) and Sarah and I sang our hearts out to a variety of singstars on the big TV :3
And around 4am Sarah snuck a house warming card under my door XD Which we found this morning 030 was awesome.

On another note internet is being really slow today, like I reset it and it's working better but buffering anime... It's taking a while. Which is why I'm writing this, but yeah. Imgur gifs...Just are not loading....

Health 10/10 - Yup, I'm amazing right now. Like mentally I'm a little drained and sad, missing people and stuff, but all in all I actually feel amazing o.o and I haven't had a migraine in like.... A year now? And for the past month or so I haven't... Well I've hardly taken any Ibuprofen before going to bed.... How insane is that?!

Work vs Play
- Work
1) Cleaned the house.. kinda, more I put it back in order, need to do washing and my room but downstairs is presentable again :3
2) Cleaning work for moneys (Job)
3) Tea party plans for freshers fair.
- Play
1) Watched new sword art online episode
2) About to catch up on the new sailor moon episodes I've missed

Thing of today

o.o none for now

To do list......No.
